May 25, 2019 - The final shoot of PhonY was scheduled last October in Hollywood, with five time no 1 world-star Burt Reynolds in the lead.  His untimely death, a mere month before our scheduled shooting (btw right after his back-to-back role in Quentin Tarantino's Once upon a time in Hollywood), required an extensive recasting in the production of PhonY.  Tarantino is indeed ironic as PhonY was labeled 'Pulp Fiction as a Comedy'.

August 27, 2018 - Producer/writer/director of PhonY, Roger Steinmann, is scheduled to arrive in Hollywood from his residence in Phuket early September for preproduction of the October 15 shoot with Burt Reynolds and Talia Shire.  This date is determined to Reynolds' engagement in Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' early October. A read-through is set with Reynolds and Shire mid/end September.
